Wood and mixed media big
The making of bigger sculpures and assemblages is a special challenge - also combining stone sculptures with suitable pedestals. In that context I also research the combination with mixed media like rope and metal. Plastic, artificial material I find not attractive.

Memorial tree for master weaver Johann
2020A 'minimalist' work; a fabric of all kinds of pieces of natural material that connects with the living world natural material that connects with the world of my great-grandfather Johann: sheep's wool, flax, hemp and cotton fibers and threads; neatly with rough chunks of limestone and granite or pebbles of flint, quartz and jasper rounded by river water. The fragments form a balance with the yoke, trunk and base of pine wood. This is my symbol for our shared creative heritage.

Faces - alternitely in forms of matter and empty spaces.
On a shaky structure, a tower of hope and a small raft - on the road like the millions of migrants, fugitives of war looking for new homes.
With a windorgan as a symbol for the voices that this raft carries: everyone has to give voice to a unique song.
